Christine born in Cambridgeshire – RAF Hospital Ely, moved to Fife aged one after her Father was posted to Royal Air Force Leuchars. Her first job was in the hospitality sector aged 16, she then followed on to various other occupations such as waitress, sales assistant, housekeeper, kitchen assistant & receptionist. She even found herself in a situation where she was asked to sing on camera in a job interview, for the position of a waitress!

Leaving school aged 17 she enrolled at a local college first studying Art & Design leading on to Fashion which took her into Bridal fashion. After spending 7 years in Bridal fashion and the wedding industry this lead her to Balbirnie where she was overjoyed to join the team. Her normal day to day tasks are working her way through a busy inbox, helping clients at all stages of planning, be it the very first steps, right in the thick of it and after the day itself. Saturday and Sunday are the days that call for flat shoes as she is usually in client meetings back to back from 10am until 1.00pm. Then of course its ceremony time so straight into the wedding that day for any required assistance. Christine is always keen to see the professional images of our couples days and can usually be found stalking photographers social media.

Recently married, Christine and Jay enjoyed their very own wedding day here at Balbirnie in November 2019. The future plans now consist on expanding their family with more French bulldogs. Beck is currently their only and very spoiled pooch.

Christine is very creative and loves when a new project comes her way, from making bows for many Christmas trees over the years to designing adverts for wedding magazines. She also takes care of the flower arrangements around the house and loves to take advantage of any flowers left by couples after the day.

Christine enjoys cuddles with her dog, eating out, plenty of wine and online shopping.
